IN HUMILITY WE SERVE

Of course, being a member of any Church family is not just about coming along to a service on Sunday morning. Jesus made it clear that in His kingdom we are to serve one another.

Being on a team is a practical way to keep the church services and various ministries running smoothly, so we would love you to help out by serving in one of our teams.

TEAMS AT NEWLiFE

  • WORSHIP TEAM

    Our worship team strives to connect the congregation with the Holy Spirit. Leading the church in worship is a vital part of our services and requires skills in music and the ability to be sensitive to the spirit. If you have high-level vocal or instrumental skills, please get in touch with us if you would like to be on the team.

  • MEDIA TEAM

    Our services require live sound mixing, computer scripture and lyric operation, along with live stream camera operation and production skills. If you have skills in these areas and would like to assist our team, please let us know and we will work out how to utilise your skills to bless others.

  • WELCOME TEAM

    Often the first contact people make with our church, our welcome team is excellent in communication along with loving people as they are. Our welcome team greets people upon entry and follows up with new people after the service, looking to engage them with the life of the church.

  • CAFE TEAM

    Part of being a Christian means a intense love for a good coffee – well not really, but they often go hand in hand. Our Cafe team operates the Red Cafe during the week and Holy Ground Cafe at the Sunday service. Barista skills are preferred, however, training can be arranged. If you love people and love making coffee let us know!

  • KIDS + YOUTH MINISTRY

    At our Sunday service, we run a kids ministry from toddlers to young teens. We seek passionate faith-filled people to help serve on its team to help disciple the next generation. Likewise, our youth ministry runs on a Friday night and aims to empower teens and young adults to be all Christ has called them to be.

  • PRAYER TEAM

    Our prayer team is the heart of our church. When needs arrive we aim to practically help where we can, however instant help can come in the form of prayer. We love faith filled individuals to join our prayer team believing for God to work miracles and intercede in situations.

  • MAINLY MUSIC TEAM

    Our team is all about connectin with the families in the community and help and support the relationships and connections between carers and children. If you are a people’s person and love having fun with children this is the team for you!

If you want to be involved with one of the aforementioned teams, please let us know below. You can serve on as many teams as you would like and in most cases, we have rotational rosters so you have the opportunity to have a break and enjoy being part of the church.
